I think this plug-in is awesome, but some pages could use just a little more explanation (I'm sure I should be using more features but I don't understand).
Under PRELOAD, it says "Preload ZZZ posts" and has a drop down. If I chose 255, it's supposed to be the most recent right? This part actually might not be working (future posts worked last time I tried); since I can't tell when preloading actually starts working, when I look later I'm not sure if the hundreds that that are there are from hits or preloading.
If I say "preload cache now" (it does all files, right?) but it doesn't seem to be any order (from what you say, I'd think newest to oldest).
Side note/confustion: I see most of your expirations are time releated and not number of items related (but then you tell us not to cache more than 10,000 items) and then preloading is also based on number items.
If I could choose what to preload:
I'd say my home page, my 25 most recent posts and the tags and categories pages of those posts and my 50 most popular pages (personally, I'd manually add a list of these, I have 5 super popular posts and one has 500+ comments so they're slow to load).
Thanks,
Gary
An unrelated problem is my host doesn't like more than 2,500 items in a folder (or I'd cache everything). I can have 2,500 folders with 2,500 folders and items and more in each folder.
